Lake Aguamilpa is a 70 mile long reservoir full of aggressive Florida Strain Largemouth bass. It is located at a 2,400 - 3,600 foot elevation, 20 miles from Tepic, Nayarit.  Many of the bass are in the 7 lb. range, with some exceeding 11 lbs!  Currently the lake record is 14 lbs. 6 oz.

Usual catches are 75 to 100 bass per angler per day.  For excellent numbers of quality bass, Lake Aguamilpa can't be beaten.
